Focus Dog Training is here because of a little dog with big feelings. Lauren rehomed Luna in 2019 and in learning to help Luna overcome her worries about the world, she found a new passion: Helping dogs and their owners live happy lives together.

Having lived with a dog who had big reactions to things, Lauren knows how important it is that training plans work for both ends of the lead. As well as supporting dogs, Lauren is dedicated to helping owners of spicy dogs find joy with their canine companions.

Lauren holds a level four in Canine Training and Behaviour Consultations from the IMDT (Institute of Modern Dog Trainers) and is a Dog Training College Certified Dog Trainer. She has also completed numerous specialist courses including reactivity, canine body language and puppy training.

Rach teaches our puppy classes, Saturday mooch about classes and hosts our Spicy Socials. She's really passionate about finding joy in dog training for both ends of the lead.

Rach has a huge depth of training knowledge and as an Absolute Dogs Pro Dog Trainer and is a Dog Training College Certified Dog Trainer. When she's not teaching our classes she also helps owners and schools to train assistance dogs, and specialises in solo walks for reactive dogs.

While primarily based in Horsforth, we also offer dog training in Cookridge, Adel, Bramhope, Meanwood, Headingley, Kirkstall, Bramhope, Bramley, Pudsey, Farsley, Rodley, Calverley, Guiseley, Yeadon, and Rawdon.
